Damian Marley wins MOBO Award

Reggae artiste Damian Marley won the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act earlier this evening. The awards ceremony took place at the Leeds’ First Direct Arena in London.

Damian Marley beat out other nominees, including Chronixx, Aidonia, Popcaan, and Alkaline.

Damian Marley impacted the UK music scene this year with his latest album, "Stony Hill".

The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin) 'recognises artistes of any ethnicity or nationality performing black music'.
