Intent 2 Set To Premiere Next Month

Popcaan is ready to continue his acting career after the Dancehall superstar recently landed a major role in the sequel for the crime, drama film “The Intent 2: The Come Up.” The movie, which is the second part of the hit British film “The Intent,” is set to premiere on Netflix next month.

The dancehall star landed a major role in the film where he played a vicious villain name Sour Sop who runs the underworld in Kingston along with famous Jamaican actor Louie ‘Ox’ Rankin best known for his roles in Belly (1998), Shottas (2002).

Part one of the film was about an undercover police officer who found his loyalties tested as the gang he had grown attached to became increasingly violent. The movie did well for the streaming company, and as such a part two is in the making, which is set to be released later this year. It featured the likes of Scorcher, Krept & Konan, Femi Oyeniran, Dylan Duffus and Ashley Chin, with many of those stars expected return for The Intent 2.
