After spending 6 years behind bars, Vybz Kartel is still dominant in dancehall.

The incarcerated dancehall deejay showed all the other entertainers just how to run road, when he symbolically walked away with 5 honours at the Youth View Awards, in February of this year. Kartel has released a number of new singles and a new ep, Party since 2017 and continues to rock the airwaves.

As the summer warms up, fans anticipate another banger from the jailed deejay, similar to that of 2016 summer, "Fever" which also won the song of the year 2016.
