Konshens Scores Big With 'Turn Me On': 5.7 Million Streams

EMPIRE signed artiste, Konshens has been reaping success with his 'Turn Me On' single.

The single was produced by TJ Records on the "World Fete Riddim". The video, directed by Jay Will has so far racked up more than 5.7M views single its release in May of this year. This is a testament to the artist’s devoted fan-base and consistent track record of popular music.

Since 2012, Konshens made a mark with hits such as “Gal A Bubble,” “Do Sum’n,” and “Pull Up to Mi Bumper.” The Kingston native, who is repped by Solid Agency management, has continued to release party-themed dancehall tracks. His 2016 single “Bruk Off Yuh Back” has accumulated more than 100 million Spotify streams and the video has received over 64 million views.

A crossover into the mainstream was inevitable for Konshens. Earlier this year, Chris Brown gave more life to his "Bruk Off Yuh Back" record on the powerful collaboration. Konshens has also delivered provocative verses on some of the biggest R&B/pop songs to date, from Miguel’s “Adorn” to Chris Brown’s “Back to Sleep.”
