Reports have surfaced that Mavado edged Vybz Kartel in the recent lyrical battle
The recent feuds with Dancehall Artist, Mavado has become a hot topic in mainstream media. The clash has been compared to that of Drake and Meek Mills. "Instead Mavado lyrically annihilate two artists in during his lyrical battle.". What are your views?
Mavado, who recently returned to Jamaica, seem to have become the target for many dancehall acts, as many seem to have forgotten his lyrical ability. Popcaan decided to throw the first jabs at Mavado when he released a controversial track titled "World Cup":
Mavado then released a diss track aimed at Popcaan, which then turned into a lyrical battle that ended weeks later.
Vybz Kartel seemed provoked by some of the Mavado's lyrical content in the Popcaan battle, which later saw the 'Worl Boss' releasing a diss track produced by TJ Records titled ‘Step’. In this track, Vybz Kartel takes jabs at the ‘Gully Gad’
“When the M1 a buss yuh want to see the fool get up, drop inna gully and float head swell up, any ends weh you have a Portmore bet you seh mi mek nobody doah bother wan friend you,” Kartel deejays.
Mavado responded to Kartel's diss track which got the dancehall fans excited once more. Vybz Kartel has since released his last track called "Di Last One" ending the fued. Kartel is of the view that "Gully Gad" is not war worthy and as such he has ended the battle to focus on his career. For many fans the response was quite shocking, as no one expected the 'Gaza Don' to predict an early exit of the war.
Mavado who posted via instagram his disappointment with Vybz Kartel latest response “Gullyside all I can say Im very disappointed!!! no mercy” is yet to respond.
