Suspect in shooting of Mavado held by police
A man suspected of shooting at dancehall entertainer Mavado in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew yesterday is now in police custody.
Head of the JCF's Constabulary Communication Unit Assistant Superintendent of Police Dahlia Garrick said the man was picked up following the incident.
It is understood that not long after that incident, a man, who is said to have been aligned to Mavado, was shot and killed behind the Constant Spring Market.
He has been identified as Ian Robinson, otherwise called 'Gaza Man'.
