Vybz Kartel's 'Fever' hits Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts

Vybz Kartel single Fever has hit the Billboard charts.

The single which was released early last year, debuted at #50 on the R&B Hip Hop Airplay charts.

Fever is produced by TJ Records and was also featured on Vybz Kartel’s “King of the Dancehall” album.

'King of the Dancehall' album also featured on the Reggae Albums Chart on Billboard, and debuted at Number 1 on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart.

The appeal hearing for Kartel, who is a convicted murderer, is set to begin on February 19, 2018.

Three weeks have been set aside for arguments to be heard in the Appeal Court.

Defence attorneys have until October to file their written grounds of appeal and the prosecutors have been given until November to respond.

On March 15 this year, High Court Judge, Justice Frank Williams, granted Kartel and his co-convicts permission to appeal their conviction and sentence.
