Downsound Record's assets seized following $15m court judgement
Several assets owned by Music production company, Downsound Records, have been seized by the authorities.
This after a judgement was made by the Court last month, for the company to pay out 15 million dollars to Andre 'Rookie' Tyrell, over the use of his 'Superstar Riddim'.
These assets include a Mercedes Benz motorcar driven by female Deejay Ishawna.
Marketing Expert at Downsound Records, Shawn 'Contractor Edwards says they are appealing the judgement.
Last month Downsound Producer Orville 'Scatta' Burrell and CEO Joe Bagdanovich were ordered to pay 15 million dollars in damages for the use of the riddim on a single titled 'Street Hustle', done be Dancehall Artiste Specialist.
