Adele DENIES turning down that Beyonce duet...

Adele would like to let you all know that she didn’t actually turn down a duet with Beyonce, despite the rumours doing the rounds.

A couple of weeks ago it was reported that Adele had turned down a potential collaboration with Beyonce. Reports stated that Queen Bey has been trying to get into the studio to work on something with Adele for the past 12 months, but nothing ever came of it. It was also added that Beyonce thought ‘to hell with it’ in the end and decided to keep the track for her own sixth studio album. (FYI: It’s also rumours Beyonce’s new album will be out before the end of the year… she might want to pull her socks up with the promo).

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio show, Adele profusely denied the claims that are doing the rounds, in which she stated that she would never be so “disrespectful” to say ‘thanks, but no thanks’ to the Queen.

“There’s a rumour going round that I turned Beyonce down, which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that. Obviously, like, Queen B ‘till the day I die,” she told Lowe.

So there you have it… Adele never turned Beyonce down, and she never will turn Beyonce down. Beyonce might want to strike whilst the iron is hot then and get a collaboration request in right now, which will do just nicely in time for her album dropping. An Adele and Beyonce collaboration would be A-MA-ZING!

Adele has done something that not many artists can do these days – she maintained a complete media blackout in the months leading up to the announcement of her new album. Sure, speculation did the rounds, and one thing or another was rumours, but nothing actually ‘leaked’ in terms of Adele’s release strategy. Never did we guess she would pop back up and tease her lead single via the medium of a television advert in the middle of The X Factor on a Sunday evening.

Adele’s brand new album ‘25’ will be released on Friday, November 20.
