Nicki Minaj drops 'Queen' album
Nicki Minaj sent her Barbz into a frenzy when she announced that her anticipated Queen album would indeed release on Friday (Aug. 10). She broke the news during her debut episode of Queen Radio on Beats 1. Minaj later delivered on her promise as the project arrived on streaming services shortly prior to noon ET.
Queen includes previously released singles "Rich Sex," "Chun-Li," and the Ariana Grande-assisted "Bed." The Young Money rapper pulled out all the stops for a decorated cast of features, as she enlists the likes of Lil Wayne, "Roman's Revenge" collaborator Eminem, Labrinth, The Weeknd, Swae Lee, Future, and Foxy Brown for assists on the album.
"...Unu can't tell dem, fi free up vybz..." Nicki spits over a dancehall beat in track 18 titled 'Coco Chanel' featuring Foxy Brown. Nicki Minaj later in her "Inspirations" outro track sends Spice and other fellow Caribbean artistes shout out. Listen clip below:
