Vybz Kartel Throwback: Live at Sumfest 2010

Reggae Sumfest 2010 was unlike any other year for Jamaica's leading music festival. Jamaica was still recovering from the traumatic raid on Tivoli Gardens and subsequent State of Emergency with hundreds of unexplained killings and incarcerations. Dancehall hero Vybz Kartel himself had been released from police custody shortly before his appearance on Dancehall Night, capturing the mood by taking the stage in handcuffs before delivering a message of unity between Gully and Gaza.
