'Mr. Vegas' turns to the church

MALE deejay Mr. Vegas has declared that he is becoming a Christian.

Earlier today, the artiste who is known for his hits tracks such as “Heads High” (1998) and “Nike Air” (1997) took to social media and made the revelation.

“I Give Myself Away. Thanks to the fans that stood by me through the years. Thi is the start of a new journey. This is the day that I answered to his call. I have decided to make jesus my choice.” he said on Facebook.

Born Clifford Smith in Jamaica’s capital city, Kingston. Mr. Vegas developed a passion for music at an early age. It was customary for aspiring high school age singers to gather during lunch break to test new lyrics and share their talents with classmates. Smith’s passion developed during these sessions when he noted female classmates would regularly attend without
demonstrating any interest in lunch.
